Tools: Dashboard and Map View

In this video we look at two key tools which will help you get a high-level overview of your equipment inventory. These two tools are the dashboard (which provides a pie charts view) and the map view (which provides a geographical view).

  • Filter the dashboard to show data for a specific site.
  • Turn off pie charts or data tables in the display options.
  • Copy a link to embed the dashboard on a website.

Map View Tool

The map view tool provides a high-level, geographical overview of equipment and sites within an organization.

When using the map view tool, a user can:

  • Choose a map style, such as terrain or satellite.
  • Decide whether to include or hide equipment that has been retired, sold, or is for sale.
